The Thoroughbred Owners & Breeders Association of Jamaica was founded by Dr. Gerald Omar Rushie-Grey in 1952. In that year Dr. Rushie-Grey was elected the first President of the Association. The current President is Mr. Howard L. Hamilton, who was elected in 1996.
